John Curran

Managing Director of Mansfield 4x4 since 2003. An experienced fleet Management and Maintenance Manager having been responsible for the 3000 plus mixed fleet of Eastern Electricity vehicles and the 18 garages which maintained them up to 1998. Subsequently John was the founder and MD of CALK Ltd, the company, which managed and maintained the Eastern fleet when it was outsourced. John owns a TD5 Discovery having changed from a V8 Discovery 2.

Tim Poulter

Workshop Manager of Mansfield 4x4 since 2001. An experienced highly qualified technician who was the Workshop Controller at the Linadacre Land Rover dealership prior to joining Mansfield 4x4. His excellent diagnostic skills combine with a wealth of knowledge of Land Rover and Jeep vehicles to provide an excellent level of service to all customers.

Chris Nunn

Jeep Parts Manager of Mansfield 4x4 since 2008. A Main Dealer trained Jeep and Land Rover Technician Chris made the change to parts in 2007. Chris has been with Mansfield 4x4 since 2003 having been a Land Rover and Jeep Technician at Henley's and Lindacre Main Dealerships prior to this. Chris brings to the Parts Department extensive practical knowledge, which is of great help when customers need practical advice when fitting parts to their vehicles. Chris is a Jeep enthusiast driving a modified LPG converted 1997 Cherokee on and off-road.

Brian Thrower.

Land Rover Parts Manger since 2009. Brian, a Land Rover Main Dealer trained Parts Professional, (ex Hunters/Lindacre Ipswich, Lookers Colchester and Henley's Ipswich), he brings a comprehensive knowledge of Land Rover and Jeep parts. Like Chris, Brian has a practical background with Land Rover and as well as carrying most of the part numbers in his head he can tell you what will and will not fit most applications.

Bruce Harnett

A Senior 4x4 Technician. Bruce is one of the founder members of the company having been employed as a technician with Mansfield 4x4 since 1995. Bruce is a practical ex-army person who was an army-driving instructor and served in the Falklands. He used to own, modify, maintain and off-road his Land Rover 101 and has competed in numerous off-road events.

Ben Parsons

A 4x4 Technician. Ben served his apprenticeship with Mansfield 4x4 and has an in-depth knowledge of both Land Rover and Jeep vehicles. He left us for a short period to get more experience in off-road and expedition preparation and has now returned to enhance the team. Ben is a keen Discovery owner and has travelled to some wild areas of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania to enhance his off road driving. Ben is also a qualified MOT tester.

Nigel Grant

A Senior 4x4 Technician with Mansfield 4x4 since 2008. Originally a Main Dealer trained Daihatsu technician, Nigel has worked on most makes and models of car from Ferraris to Minis and brings to the team a wealth of experience of working on both 4 wheel drive and conventional 2 wheel drive vehicles. Nigel is also a qualified MOT tester.

Mary Nunn

A Parts Assistant. Mary has been with Mansfield 4x4 since 2009 and provides the Parts Department with the help it needs to put away and pick and pack Land Rover and Jeep parts. We sell parts locally nationally and around the world and Mary's packing is very good ensuring that every part arrives in the condition it left us. We have over 9000 lines of product so one of her great strengths is the tidy methodical way she operates (unlike her son Chris our Parts Manager!) so we know what we have and where it is.

Adam Pitcher

Adam is a Parts Apprentice. Adam joined us in November 2010 and is learning the trade of Parts Assistant. The Apprenticeship he is following is a mixture of theory and practical applications and within two years he will be qualified to a Parts Assistant level.

Joy Potter

Joy is our Bookkeeper. She has been with us since November 2009 and helps to keep us on the straight and narrow! She is the person who will chase you unmercifully if you are lucky enough to be allowed a trade account but unlucky enough to have exceed the repayment terms!
